Welcome to Alongly. We built this app to be a calm space where you can build habits, learn new skills, and grow alongside others. These Terms help explain how Alongly works and what we expect from each other.

By using Alongly, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app. We want this to be a place where everyone feels supported and safe.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

Alongly is a space for growth, and we want to make sure it’s safe for everyone.

• Age: You must be at least 13 years old to use Alongly.
• Account Accuracy: Please provide accurate information when you sign up.
• Security: You’re responsible for keeping your account secure. If you think something is wrong, let us know.

3. Your Content

When you use Alongly, you create and share "journeys" and "add progress."

• Ownership: You own everything you create—your photos, your words, and your journeys.
• Permissions: By sharing content on Alongly, you give us permission to display it within the app so you and others can see it. This is how the community works.
• Responsibility: You’re responsible for what you share. Please make sure you have the rights to use any photos or text you add.

4. Community Guidelines

Alongly is built on encouragement. We expect everyone to be respectful and supportive.

• No Harassment: We have zero tolerance for bullying, hate speech, or harassment.
• Stay Safe: Don’t share anything illegal, dangerous, or sexually explicit.
• Respect Others: Don’t try to scrape data, spam users, or disrupt the service.
• Authenticity: Don’t impersonate others or create fake accounts to mislead people.

5. Interactions

Alongly is a social space. You can interact with others by:

• Boosting: Giving a boost to celebrate someone’s progress.
• Commenting: Leaving supportive words on a journey.
• Joining Journeys: Becoming part of a shared path to grow together.

Please keep these interactions positive and aligned with the supportive nature of Alongly.

6. Privacy

Your privacy is incredibly important to us. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy. By using Alongly, you’re also agreeing to how we handle data as described there.

7. Intellectual Property

While you own your content, we own the Alongly app itself—the design, the code, the logo, and the name. Please don’t use our branding or code without our permission.

8. Service Changes

We’re always working to make Alongly better. This means we might add new features, change how things work, or occasionally remove something that isn't helping the community. We’ll do our best to keep you informed of major changes.

9. Termination & Deletion

You’re free to leave at any time. You can delete your account through the app settings, which will remove your journeys and your data from our active systems.

We also reserve the right to suspend or close your account if you consistently violate these terms or the spirit of our community.

10. Disclaimers

We provide Alongly "as is." While we strive to make it the best possible experience, we can’t guarantee it will always be perfect or available 100% of the time. We aren’t responsible for any loss or damage that might happen through your use of the app.

11. Changes to Terms

As Alongly evolves, we may need to update these terms. If we make significant changes, we’ll let you know through the app. By continuing to use Alongly after we’ve updated the terms, you’re agreeing to the new versions.
